There are two main types of clarinets: French and German.
Have you ever heard of a clarinet? The clarinet is familiar in brass bands. In orchestras, clarinets often work like middle managers sandwiched between flute oboe and bassoon, but did you know that they can be broadly divided into French and German? Most people in the world use the French style, commonly known as the Boehm style. Probably only about 0.1% (maybe less) of people in the world use German-style instruments. Although it is not well known, you will not be accepted for the audition unless you use the German clarinet in the German and Austrian pro-oke (there are 、、、、 exceptions). To be precise, the system used in Austria was not the German system, but the Vienna Academy system, but recently it is not a combination of the German style and the Vienna Academy system, but a subspecies relationship of the difference in inner diameter. Among the German clarinets, there is the famous "Ehler style" clarinet. German formula = not Ehler formula. Here are some tips on German clarinets, so stay tuned.
