NPO Ongaku no Kakehashi
President: Masaru Takahashi

In 2018, we launched a new music group, "Ensemble Orchestra Knot", which is the predecessor of the group, and have been engaged in various activities such as orchestras and ensembles as a voluntary organization. On October 1, 2021, we launched the NPO "Ongaku no Kakehashi" in order to conduct full-scale musical exchange and nurture of young musicians by inviting overseas musicians, which had been difficult due to financial and personnel as a voluntary organization.
Currently, it is difficult to invite overseas musicians due to the Corona disaster, but we are focusing on nurturing young musicians in Japan who have fewer opportunities to perform. We will continue to do our utmost to support the development of music and human connections through music, so we appreciate your continued support.
This NPO aims to promote the music arts to the general public and support the musical activities of domestic musicians through public concerts, concerts, lectures, and tours by amateur, freelance, and professional musicians both in Japan and overseas. In order to achieve this goal, we are engaged in the following non-profit activities.
- Public Concert Program
- Art education business by holding concerts, lectures, and tours in local communities and schools
- Support for domestic musicians' performance activities in Japan and overseas
In carrying out the public performance business and art education project sponsored by this NPO, we will perform under the following two names.
Orchestral Knot:
We will perform a relatively large orchestral piece with more than 40 members.
Ensemble Knot
Chamber music with less than 40 members will be performed.
In both orchestra knot and ensemble knot formats, we accept performance requests at any time in addition to self-planned performances. For details, please contact us.
